I’ve got to say, of all the recipes for this month, this has been my most anticipated. After Mom’s chestnut Madeleines last month, I’ve been all over chestnutty goodness, and the fact that Mimi makes Mont Blanc (page 280) as a special surprise for overseas visitors makes it seem that much more French to me!
