TNT | Mango, Kiwi, and Coconut Custard Tart

TNT-Daniel-400WOh my goodness, you guys. Mango. Kiwi. Coconut. Custard …. Tart! That is all.

Not really. I do wonder how many of you are able to find the unsweetened dried shredded coconut. I found it in the bulk section of our grocery store, but you can also get Bob’s Red Mill on Amazon. If you have a Prime account, you should be able to get it in time. Otherwise, do as Daniel suggests and check your health food market. Other than that ingredient, everything should be fairly straightforward in this lovely summery dessert.

  1. To date, Emily and I have made all of these recipes together. Some of them are more HER doing … and others are more MINE. That’s the explanation I have for not mentioning the cooking time for this custard tart … she was doing most of the work on this one! So, I have to tell you that we let this tart bake for about 20 minutes more than the recipe called for. Just watch for the jiggly … You don’t want it to be jiggly. You want it to be set. Never mind the clock and use the “knife in the center” test just to be sure.
